After several big life changes, I decided IF I was going to stay in my home of 14 years, something would have to change. I could hardly stand to be in my tired brown/beige family room and very outdated kitchen.

I began to search for an interior designer, as I was paralyzed at the thought of where or even how to begin. I finally decided to call Judith Mahlin Carter with Spaces Interior Design, and from the moment she came in my door, I knew I had made the best decision that I could have made when I chose her.

She listened to my wish list and some ideas I had, and then immediately began to express some ideas of her own for the spaces. One of the greatest things she was able to do was to arrange all of the trades that were needed, from electrician to painter to countertop fabricator/installer to tile expert. I didn’t have to worry about finding any of these people on my own! Plus, I felt completely confident in leaving them in my house while I went to work each day, as they have worked with her for years. She managed everything!

She was also great about helping me furnish my family room and dining area. She was able to offer me options for mixing more expensive items, such as my sofa, with less expensive options for accent tables and TV cabinet. That really helped to stretch my budget. Her use of color has transformed me and my space! I absolutely love what Judith did for my house. I feel so happy and peaceful at home now.
