Let there be LIFE!

 

These out-of-state clients bought this house as a 2nd home and opted to purchase the house furnished, as they were given a smokin’ deal on the furniture package. It was a smart decision, as it bought them some time in making the house their home. However, as the house had been decorated by an in-house, designer from a large, retail furniture store, the house had NO life. It felt dead inside and that was NOT this couple! Most of the furnishings were unusable in our vision for the new design. However, we were able to keep a few of the existing pieces as is, and re-purpose a few others to other areas of the house. The rest were “released” to find new life elsewhere.

As their primary residence was in the South and a more classic, traditional style, they wanted this house to reflect their casual lifestyle and love of the southwest. We were able to bring in organic elements, pops of color, bring this house to life, and give them exactly what they wanted. This home is beautiful, warm, inviting and elegantly INformal. The end-result of client’s having complete trust in MY vision and design expertise. The ‘before’s’ and ‘after’s’ say it all.
